Working with students to present the best possible application includes:
- Interviewing the student and obtaining important background information
- Identifying key skills, interests and noteworthy life experiences & accomplishments
- Defining objectives and key goals for each school and/or essay assignment
- Understanding and planning for the various deadlines and submission dates
- Developing essay topics and themes
- Creating essay drafts (done by the student) and editing as appropriate
- Coaching students to obtain the best possible teacher recommendations
- Planning for and conducting the most effective campus visits, including interviewing techniques
- Advising students about choosing a school after acceptances are known
- Assisting in the appeal of a rejection
I customize the process for each student. Students require different amounts of time to complete their applications based on their unique set of objectives and college choices.
